Scholarships offered by our partners

Scholarships are available to people who can not afford to pay the full program fee but who will, by participating in the program, add diversity of background and experience, benefit personally and impact many others. We thank the sponsors and supporters below who help us have greater impact.

To indicate interest in a scholarship, please tick the box on the Governor's Leadership Foundation program application form. There is no need to identify which scholarship you are interested in, we will make recommendations to the scholarship providers.

Below are scholarships that were offered for the current GLF 2026.

Office of the public sector

The Pastor Sir Doug Nicholls & Lady Gladys Nicholls Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: Working in the SA Public Sector (ASO6 and above) and

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or a person with a disability, or female, or identify as LGBTIQ+ or from a culturally or linguistically diverse background.

2 full scholarships

These scholarships are funded by the Office of the Commissioner for Public Sector Employment. They were established in the name of the first (and only) Aboriginal Governor of South Australia, Pastor Sir Doug Nicholls and his wife Lady Gladys Nicholls in recognition of their significant leadership in a broad diversity of areas.

Community Business Bureau

The Keith Fulton Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: A person working for a community or not-for-profit organisation

2 half scholarships

The Community Business Bureau (CBB) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to provide services and programs which build the capacity and capability of not-for-profit organisations. CBB is proud to show its commitment to leadership development in the community sector by offering two half scholarships for the Governor’s Leadership Foundation to a leader in the community sector.

Redarc

Dr Paul Collier Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: A person with a disability or working for an organisation that supports those with a disability

2 half scholarships

REDARC is an award-winning SA company. Owner Anthony Kittel (FGLF 2009), supports two half scholarships in honour of Dr Paul Collier, a leader in the disability arts community, founder of the Dignity for Disability Party, quadriplegic and graduate of the 2009 GLF program, who passed away in early 2010. The scholarship supports participation in the Governor's Leadership Foundation Program for leaders with a disability or a leader in an organisation that provides support for those with a disability.

The James & Diana Ramsay Foundation

James and Diana Ramsay Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: A person working in the not-for-profit sector within one of the following areas: arts and culture, health innovations, or programs for young people.

Half scholarships

The James and Diana Ramsay Foundation Scholarship offers eligible leaders working in the Not-for-Profit sector the opportunity to expand their knowledge, leadership skills and contribution to their organisation by providing a half scholarship.

Nunn Dimos Foundation

Nunn Dimos Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: (1) Leaders in the private sector who have started or are growing their own business or startup, entrepreneurs balancing leadership growth with the demands of building a venture (2) Leaders in the creative sector, education, or environment and sustainability

2 x Half scholarships

The Nunn Dimos Foundation Scholarship supports emerging and established leaders who are driving innovation, creating opportunities, and making a positive contribution within their industries and communities. Through a half scholarship to the Governor's Leadership Foundation program, recipients can strengthen their leadership capability, broaden their networks, and accelerate their impact.

South Australian Women’s Foundation (SAWF) Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: Women who reside in South Australia and work in the not-for-profit sector, particularly those who would benefit from developing their leadership and financial capability and who have faced, or are currently facing, challenging circumstances.

2 half scholarships

The South Australian Women’s Foundation Scholarship is designed to support women whose leadership potential can be amplified through access to development opportunities. By providing a half scholarship to the Governor's Leadership Foundation program, SAWF invests in women working to make a difference in the not-for-profit sector, helping them develop the skills, networks, and confidence to lead with greater impact.

Small to Medium Business Scholarship

Eligibility criteria: A person working in a small to medium business in South Australia.

1 half scholarship

This Scholarship offers leaders working in small to medium businesses the opportunity to expand their knowledge, networks, leadership skills and contribution to their organisation.
